Metro Express, one of the
fastest growing expedited carriers in the United States, seeks
owner-operators who are looking for continuous loads and an above
average income.
Metro Express specializes
in the transport of "just in time" automotive parts, Department of
Defense critical freight, and the delivery of corporate displays to
trade conventions in the United States and Canada.
Our fleet of expedited
trucks provides exclusive use, non-stop, door-to-door delivery to
our valued customers.
Metro Express, Inc. is
currently hiring owner-operator teams with Class A CDL's with
HAZMAT. Pay rate is $1.00 per all dispatched miles, based on PC
Miler Practical, plus fuel surcharge.
Metro Express
owner-operator requirements are as follows:
- Two years over the road experience
- Minimum of 23 years of age
- No more than one moving violation or
chargeable accident within the last three years
- Ability to pass a Department of
Transportation physical and drug test
- A proper class CDL with hazmat
endorsement
- Canadian access preferred, but not
mandatory
- Eligible trucks include 22' and 24'
tandem straight trucks with sleepers and air-ride
tractor-trailers with sleepers.
Metro Express owner-operators will experience the following
